Hello and welcome to the political party. There is less than a week until polling day in the

6th of May 2021 elections across Britain in Hollywood, the Senate, police and crime commissioner

elections, metromar elections, city mayor elections, all sorts of other elections across Britain,

hopefully you're registered to vote. If you're registered to vote by post, you can, by the way,

take your ballot down to the polling station on polling day if for whatever reason you think you missed

the post or you won't get it there in time. So you can do that. I'm just trying to get as many

people to vote as possible and hopefully these podcasters helped and today's guest is Labour candidate

for the metromar in the West Midlands, Liam Burn. Of course, a former, well, currently the MP for

Hodgill as well, former government minister under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, a leading member

of Ed Miliband Shadow Cabinet, we talk about all that before we come on to what I discussed with

Pavital Man has been in touch and said, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Tony and

Sheree Blair after being sat a few chairs down from them watching Labour of Love in the West End

during which there were a few quips about Tony and his time in charge. I was always worried about

whether I should laugh or not. Well, that is very difficult. I went to see that play, I loved it.

It's by the wonderful James Gray who's been a guest on this show. Labour of Love featured Martin

Freeman, brilliant. Tam's in Greek as well. It was really good history of the Labour party.
