0:15.0	Jeremy Hunter and I were meant to be doing this live at the other Palace Theatre in Victoria
0:20.4	and it's one of the things I really miss as a result of this lockdown as well as the pub
0:25.1	and football and friends and family is doing those live gigs. I really miss them. There's a real
0:32.0	atmosphere there on the night and it's such a pleasure. I can't wait when all this is over to go
0:38.0	back to doing them but I was really pleased that Jeremy honored the date and agreed to come on
0:43.3	the show anyway. Hopefully I can get him to come and do the live show because it does make for a
0:47.8	different interview. But this was brilliant and there's so much in this. Not just about what it
0:53.6	started to go from being a Secretary of State for a brief to them being the chair of that select
0:58.0	committee. And also the role of a select committee chair at a time like this and the way he interprets
1:05.1	it. And I don't want to tread on what he's going to say but it's really interesting about how you
1:11.1	try and nudge and push and cajole your own side into doing what you think is the right thing at a
1:18.0	time like this without being difficult I suppose or without politicising it. So that's a really
1:24.0	interesting discussion. There is as well some amazing detail from his time as Foreign Secretary
1:30.2	about trying to get Nazine Zagari Racklif freed and the conversations he was having with the
1:34.8	Iranian regime and the things they were saying to him. No more spoilers. I'm sure you'll love it. I
1:40.4	started by asking Jeremy about these new ways of doing democracy in Parliament and how he has
1:46.3	found chairing a select committee remotely. Well I have to say that I think that Parliament has
1:56.8	stepped up to the plate. One of the things that was very striking to me when the virus started
2:04.7	was this very strong sense in Parliament that it should continue to sit throughout. And although
2:12.4	Parliament rose over the Easter recess the select committee is carried on doing hearings during
2:17.6	that recess and the government didn't question that at all. It absolutely went along with the idea
