Hello, thanks for downloading the latest edition of the Political Party podcast.

This one featuring Alistair Campbell.

As you can imagine, I was more excited about this than I have been.

I mean, it's on a par with Oasis getting back together and Frotch Groves too for me.

So I was very, very just amazing to have someone at Alistair Campbell on there.

You know, particularly for me, I'm a new Labour guy, I'm very much a Blair right.

I grew up in an area when I was 14 in 1997.

So as I was getting into everything in my life in a Campbell and Blair and people at Peter Mandelson were just these huge towering figures in the country at the time.

So to then face to face on a show like this, I'm going to ask kind of to Campbell any question I wanted to open the floor up to questions, which was just a great night.

He was on absolutely top form and there are some, well, warning now for the easily offended.

And there are some moments in there where the language is sexual and I'm not joking.

The language is sexual due to some of his, some of his earlier writings and all will be revealed in the interview section of the show.

And at the end, and now make your mind upon what you think really gets asked a question at the end towards the end, which he reacts to.

And I thought he was a little bit unfair, but I can understand where I could understand both sides, but it was an absolutely belting show.

And you see the difference, make your mind a bit, you see the difference with different types of politicians and the way different people approach it.

And you just get the sense with him immediately that this is elite level politics.
