Back again after the Edinburgh Festival, I hope you enjoyed the episode recorded

that there with Kessie Dundell and Nicholas Sturgeon.

This episode features Richard Carr, who is a senior lecturer in history and politics

at Anglia Ruskin University and author of the new book March of the Moderates,

a book which assesses a phrase I don't know for so long, the third way,

a political-cree champion by Tony Blair and Bill Clinton in the book Charts,

their personal and political rise and fall in their relationship.

And a lot of this discussion with Richard is about if there's any hope for a third way

style relationship or direction these days and where, if anywhere,

I should say this was recorded a couple of weeks ago and obviously things are moving very fast out there.

We talk a certain amount of contemporary politics, but it's a mix of the present day

and of course the main bulk of the book is about a particular period in time.
