Hello and welcome to the Political Party podcast. This one features Keir Starmer,

Shadow Secretary of State for exiting the European Union and Member of Parliament for

Hope and St. Pancras. He's absolutely brilliant. He's bang on top of the detail.

He's got some great stories taken us into the Shadow Cabinet meetings,

into the cross-party Brexit talks and just into politics in general.

But we really get insight into what goes on behind the scenes from him.

And he was just so relaxed and friendly and warm and open as well as being

highly intellectual and really on top of his brief and clearly mentally sharp.

So he was great. So there's nothing really more to say about the interview,

apart from the fact that it's about start. But some big news for the, I always do a couple of

specials at the Edinburgh Festival of the show as well as my stand-up show and I'm delighted

I'm doing one of the 14th and one of the 20th of August. I'm going to be joined by the

First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon. I'm absolutely buzzing to be able to interview

the First Minister, especially in Scotland and with everything that's going on.

So that's very exciting. I'll be announcing the guest for the 14th of August soon.

And of course my brand new stand-up show, which I'm in the process of writing and finishing

at the moment, Brexit pursued by a bear. He's on at the Pleasants Fourth in the Pleasants courtyard

from the 31st of July to the 25th of August, enough of the self-promotion for now. I'm going to
