tenants if we can weed out all the bad apples and only find the cream of the crop to rent to

our jobs are almost non-existent at that point.

There's really not much to do if you have really, really good tenants.

My guest today, Zach McRite, has done exactly that.

He found some people that have just horrible credit, but they are the world's most perfect

tenants.

So I want to find out exactly how we screened him, exactly what he's doing.

Why don't we start with you just telling us a little bit about yourself?

Well, I do sports radio for a living and have done it for about 20 years now,

first 10 and just play by play only and now the last 10 from 2005 to

now in sports talk radio and um i've only owned in my entire life i've owned one home i'm sure i

am a great candidate for your uh for your podcast so, so what happened? So you were living in the

house and then you got a job offer that required you to move. You almost became an accidental landlord.

You weren't planning on becoming an investor, right? Was not planning on it, at least not at the time.
