return, they've abused our privacy and trust over and over and

Mark, have you ever tried to get off Facebook? Unsuccessfully.

I signed up for a Facebook account in 2005, basically as early as I could possibly have one. Can we look at some of your old Facebook posts?

Uh, yeah.

That is me without a beard.

Dumb little inside jokes and embarrassing photos that I'm very, very fortunate that no employer has ever found in the course of interviewing me.

Wait, who just said I pooped green in your bed?

Yeah, I don't know. I was definitely living in a house full of dudes.

That embarrassing information that I was barely okay with floating on the web to begin with

is being used to build psychographic profiles of me and everyone have ever known.

I have a friend who's sending me messages every day saying, like, I deleted my account and you should too.

And that made me think, well, maybe it really is that bad. It's that big.

All of us are going to delete our accounts in some way.

What happens when you decide to delete your Facebook life, how did it go?
