So, Brian, I feel like this has been a hot topic on social media for a while.

Should I buy or should I rent?

Because you've already alluded to this, that buying a home and being a homeowner in this country

was often considered part and even a necessity to be following the American dream.

Well, and that's what I worry is it's become such a part of our societal fabric that you have your parents and your grandparents telling you you got to go buy a house that it's not that cut and dry anymore. There's a lot that's got to go into this. Now, that's not to say in the long term, we still don't love homeownership. But I'm saying don't skip the steps. And that's what we're going to give you today is these steps so you can figure out for your personal situation, is it better to buy or is it better to rent in this moment? And it's so emotionally charged because you're hearing those parents and grandparents telling you, got to buy, got to buy, got to buy. And meanwhile, the housing market's

getting crazier. We've had interest rates run up. We've seen the cost of housing increase. And so a lot of

people, especially first-time homebuyers, believe that this is almost an impossible task, something that

they aren't even capable of doing. And if I'm not capable of doing it, well, that just mean

that I'm destined to not be able to build wealth.

Yeah, and this is one I want to make sure that all of my financial mutants, that we give you the field vision to make the right decision so that you can kind of know what's going on in the economy, what's going on with your personal finances, and you come out on the right side of this

and actually know how to navigate? So the question we have right now is, okay, how did we get here,

right? Like what's going on out there? And look at some of these headlines that we've seen.
