So why don't we start with a player that you are interested in buying this week in baseball?

Yeah, I'm looking at Logan Gilbert.

I think that what we've seen so far is really not what we

should expect going forward. The 436 ERA, the 127 whip that you see on the surface, I think that

you might be able to buy him based off of those numbers. The Sierra, which is my favorite ERA estimators at

336, his FIP is at 301. He still has a 20% strikeout minus walk rate, which is an elite number. There's nothing that's really changed in terms of his V-Lo, in terms of the stuff, in terms of his locations. It's been a couple of substandard starts to begin the year, and I think that has opened up a bit of a buying opportunity here with Logan Gilbert. The strikeouts are still good.

It's not walking a ton of batters.

Everything looks fine other than that 436 ERA.

And I don't think you're going to get him for nothing.
