And you know I have this obsession with looking for unifying themes, things that sort of resonate regardless almost of which story we're talking about.

And there is one, you know, you get it a little bit with Joe Biden apologising or acknowledging that he shouldn't have talked about bull's eye in the context of

going after Donald Trump. And you register that and the failure of many headline writers to

pick up on other elements of this interview that he gave to an American journalist in which he

pointed out that Donald Trump told 28 provable lies in that last

presidential debate, but inevitably focus is almost exclusively, well not inevitably, but focus

is almost exclusively directed at Joe Biden's own slowness and fragility. It's not an either-or

question, but it is a question of why there
