Jason, the Thunderbolts movie is going to be in cinemas any second now.

And you could look at the Thunderbolts and say, boy, that looks an awful lot like a team of

villains. And a team of villains that I really know is the suicide squad. Now, I know you're a big

fan of the Thunderbolts. In the comics. I haven't seen the movie. So, so, so, so. I like

Florence Pew. Yeah. TLDR. What makes the Thunderbolt

special among teams of supervillains? What is compelling to you? The thing that makes them special

is the initial hook of the Thunderbolts. And again, we're going to dip into the thing about it,

is that if you don't know the history of the Thunderbolts is that it was

a Kurt Busiak and Mark Bagley team that was made in the 90s.

And during this time period, it was when the Avengers and the Fantastic Four and Iron

Man and the Hulk and Captain American Thor were all in a pocket dimension.

So the mainstream Marvel universe had no Avengers.

Yeah.

And so they made a bunch of books.

They remade like Heroes for Hire, I believe.

They did a new Khazar series.

They did, I can't remember.

There was a couple other books.

But one of the books they released in this time was Thunderbolts.

And they were all about these new teams trying to fill this whole, like, who are going

to be the new Avengers, basically?

And the Thunderbolts were the team that Kurt Busick and Mark Bailey made that was a brand
