When it comes to the Patriots in the passing game, going back and watching last week, May had two turnover-worthy plays in that game. One of them was pressure from the blind side where he had the fumble and it's like, okay, well, it's a turnover worthy play because he fumbled the football,

obviously, but that one's not, you know, him throwing it into coverage. The other one was

him being very confused by a mugged look from the linebacker where it looked like the linebacker was going to have an agap blitz and he ended up dropping immediately and Drake May just didn't like he did not expect for that to happen. You could see when the ball was snapped, he got the ball. He was like, oh, okay, you know, the linebacker's not occupying that area anymore because he's going to blitz. I'm just going to hit this really quick route here. And the second he looks to it, the linebacker's right there and he goes, oh, and he holds on

the ball a little bit longer than he should have. And that's the second turnover worthy play there. So we didn't really have a turnover worthy play when it came to him targeting wide receivers or tight ends deep down the field. I just felt like he looked uncomfortable. Like I just didn't think he looked super confident.

Oh, to me, they're going to have to come up with ways to protect more than anything.

But I think you're going to see an improvement from May.

Typically, he's bounced back from these sorts of games. And I agree with everything they said in terms of the assessment of his play last week. He was, he did. He looked confused. He didn't look comfortable for the most part. It loosened up later in the game and he got a little bit more like himself.
