And the commanders have a lot of holes, particularly on defense, but we wanted to dive into running back.

Now, when you look at where they finished as a team rushing the football, it was fourth in the NFL in total yards.

But if you look at some advanced metrics like DVOA, the commanders ranked 23rd in the NFL.

DVOA has to do with kind of expected yards that lead to first downs.

So in that analytic, rushing the football, they came up short on a lot of third and short situations and red zone attempts.

Adam Schatz from ESPN said the commanders, predicts will make a big splash by signing running back Breeshall.

A talented Russian receiver will be just 25 years old next season.

Rookie running back to Cory Kroski Merritt didn't end up taking the league by storm.

And Chris Rodriguez Jr. wasn't spectacular either.

Washington finished 23rd and run offense DVOA this A. Well, first of all, he's been a little hard on Crosky Merritt. He had an up and down season, but he finished with 4.6 yards per carry, over 800 yards, eight touchdowns. I think he's pretty good for a six-round draft pick. Seventh-round pick. Seventh-round pick. To get that sort of production out of that late of a pick. Incredible. And it played every game. That's a huge hit. All right.
