Good morning Buccner's, welcome to the Buccner's,

0:30.0

it's morning 5 here on Friday, May 27th, 2022. I am Dave Bittle, I am very happy

0:35.3

joined by Jonah Booker for his usual Friday visit. A lot to get into my man. Let's

0:40.4

start with should the Big Ten eliminate divisions and if they do eliminate

0:46.4

divisions like how would that go and just your overall thoughts on whether the

0:50.7

Big Ten should eliminate divisions and if they will. I definitely think they

0:55.2

should eliminate divisions. There's an imbalance right now with the Big Ten

0:59.0

East. You look at Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Michigan State. If any of

1:04.9

those teams sent over to the Western division, those guys, one of those teams

1:11.6

were probably winning and if you look at the Big Ten Championship, the Big

1:14.6

Ten West has never won a Big Ten Championship in India. So to me, I think it would

1:21.4

be huge for the Big Ten Conference to really shake up the scheduling. I know

1:26.6

they were looking at a three game lot, meaning that each team will have three

1:31.5

games that will be automatic when they're scheduled. For Ohio State, I suspect it

1:36.4

would be Michigan, Penn State. Maybe at Michigan State, you can even make an

1:41.9

argument for Purdue, Indiana, or Illinois for the Illinois. What's the

1:49.0

call the illabuck trophy? The illabuck, yes, the trophy. They have them played

1:56.2

each other for several years now, but I will be all in favor for the Big Ten

2:00.6

Conference going ahead and doing some realignment and I think by doing that, it

2:05.6

will also give you the opportunity once they do expand the playoff to give

2:10.9

multiple teams in there because you're going to have your two best teams at the

2:16.3

end of the year playing each other. Yes, I know a lot of people say I don't like it
