Fernando for an emergency operation to address an intraserebral hemorrhage that is bleeding within the brain.

During the procedure, the surgeons removed a 12 by 15 centimeters section of his skull.

Now, they intended to replace it in a subsequent surgery.

But then there were applications and one thing led to another, and then we couldn't

find the piece of skull.

What do we do with that skull?

Well, we don't know. Oh, well, never mind. We'll just use this synthetic

replacement which then caused more complications, including an infection, which caused more surgeries and we continue on with that.

Well now the couple, I guess they're upset at the Emory University Hospital in Midtown,

and they're filing a lawsuit against the hospital.

They claim negligence after the hospital

misplaced a portion of Fernando's skull, I'm sorry, allegedly misplaced

a portion of Fernando's skull following the brain surgery.

Then they charged them for the synthetic version.

So I'm just saying if you happen to go in

for brain surgery and they're gonna cut piece of your skull off I don't know
