I'm going to set you up to take the ball and run with it.

Let's go back to rewind the last Tuesday.

Twins were opening a six-game homestand, the very disappointing twins,

opening a six-game homestand against the Yankees and then the Astros.

And in pre-game on-field access, which we now have again to a certain degree,

Twins general manager Thad Levine addressed the masses in the media and talked about the fact

that the twins weren't throwing in the towel yet and they had this homestand coming up against

two good teams. Now, the Yankees are a weird team. They're struggling.

The Astros are a good team.

But Levine's point was, hey, let's get through these six games.

Let's see, you know, who knows?

Maybe we win four of them.

Maybe we sweep two series and everybody feels differently.

And, you know, I think we all had a skeptical eye towards those comments.
