There is so much going on and a jam-packed program today.

I want to start out getting into this question of, do Americans?

And of course this includes Democrats, but I'm not speaking just about Democrats and Democratic Party.

Do Americans have the will to actually do battle with the, metaphorically, politically speaking,

with wealthy right-wing authoritarians and the movement that they are promoting?

I'm going to get to that in just a moment.

Secondly, how do we memorialize January 6th?

There's a big discussion going on among members of Congress, among people in the news media.

What do we do? What's the logo for this thing?

When Ronald Reagan cut a deal with the Iranians to hold the hostages when Jimmy Carter was president

to destroy the Carter presidency, we tied yellow ribbons around trees and they sang songs about

them and tie yellow ribbons around them. Actually, I think the song preceded the hostage taking,

but you get my point. How do we memorialize January 6th? Oh, ask that question.

And also, Louise and I have our own little war about Christmas.
