The NFL season is about ready to kick off, if you will, with the NFL draft. Hey, I want to share another thing here to start the show and then we'll jump right to your calls.

I got an email in about the proximity principle. The new book comes out May 13. I taught the last two days. I taught on the proximity principle to a local high school with their senior classes and posted that picture on my Instagram page as well.

Can I tell you how fun it was to teach the proximity principle to 17 year olds are going to go off into the next phase of their life. It was really fun. They're the leading edge of the audience.

So anyway, it's not just a book. It's a living breathing principle that works. That's why we wrote the book and we got this email in from Gerardo.

First of all, it's great to get an email from a guy named Gerardo. You don't hear that one very often. Gerardo says, hey, Ken, my girlfriend is an ICE.

I'm a CT tech working in the same network of hospitals. Her job is toxic and she's tried for every year to leave.

So I decided to help. I used the proximity principle as I work very closely with other nurses. So I went to the radiology nurse supervisor here in my hospital and I promoted my girlfriend to her.

So the supervisor nurse I spoke with said that she was going to start asking around to other nurses and just to kind of get a sense on who my girlfriend is and you know, is she worth helping out.

And she got back to me and said she's heard nothing but great stuff. So she's going to meet with my girlfriend and is going to actually pull her application and get the interview process started.

How about that? The boyfriend uses the proximity principle for the girlfriend and it gets better.

But now another job she applied for is calling her for an interview. This job is in wound care, something that she actually took classes for.

So she could see herself doing the other job. Both jobs are the same hospital network we work at. So either job, she's going to get out of the toxic job.

And he says, I'm wondering what you do in this situation with more than one job that will most likely hire you. And the answer to this is you run the process out. Let it run. Run the whole course.

And you take the one that your heart says, I've done this callers before. You got both. I give you either one, which one do you want? You take it every time.

Nine times now, ten times that ten, you're going to go this way. Which one is it? And somebody inevitably just goes boom, this was the one.
