This audio is brought to you by Muslim Central.com. You're going to. Thank you. Islam, al-Licom everyone. Here's a cool question from the Gulf tour. I read the Quran, but I don't understand Arabic,

0:36.0

so I don't get anything out of reading the Quran. Shouldn't I just be reading in English?

0:40.0

And then these people tell you you have to memorize the Quran. There's so many

0:45.0

huff-out there that memorize the Quran and don't even understand what it means.

0:49.0

Shouldn't we be telling people to read the Quran instead of memorizing it and you know what as I heard this

question I realized something to every action there's an equal but opposite

1:11.2

This this beautiful sounds but what's the actual message? We should forget about memorization

1:29.5

We should focus all of our energies on reading and understanding and you know what this is?

1:33.3

These are two extremes.

1:34.9

The truth in usually these kinds of things lies somewhere in the middle and for so many questions

1:39.3

people ask I realize more and more and more that they're actually a reaction to another extreme

1:45.0

that makes them want to justify the opposite extreme

1:48.0

and not consider the answer lies in the middle, right?

1:50.0

The answer is at the end of the day, memorizing Quran is one of the most spiritually enriching and powerful, you know, acts that we can do.
