Hello, everybody. Welcome to Three Point Perspective. The podcast about illustration, how to do it,

0:09.4

how to make a living at it, and how to make an impact in the world with your art. I'm Jake Parker.

0:13.4

I'm Lee White. And I'm Will Terry. And all three of us are professional illustrators. We've all

0:18.0

worked for all the major publishers in the business. Together we've somewhere around 75 children's books and we've all taught illustration at university art programs.

0:26.6

That is correct. Each week we come at you guys with different illustrator interviews or questions from people just like yourself.

1:06.6

And I've got about that many leftover from the spaceships book as well.

1:12.2

podcast.

1:19.4

I'll probably do it after we're done here.

1:21.5

But every morning, I just take a clip like a screenshot from the PDF of those books of one of the robots or one of

1:31.5

the spaceships. And I posted on Instagram with a little thing that says, here's my book.

1:39.1

And then I also posted on Twitter. Same sort of thing. I format a little bit, one for Instagram, one for Twitter,

1:45.3

because Twitter prefers, Instagram prefers square images, Twitter prefers the, the, uh,

1:52.4

something a little bit, either vertical or horizontal, whatever. And what I'm seeing is,

1:58.8

if I post about it, sales come in.

2:02.2

I'll sell one or two or three books.
