One of the many, many, many things I don't like about the college football calendar is we're all stacked on top of each other in December.

You rarely hear this phrase out of my mouth, but the NFL does this thing better than college football has ever thought about doing this thing.

And you know what?

We're going to try and solve it tonight because we are not only problem people, we are solution people here at Pate State.

We're jam-packed high atop. I would call it a pretty temperate, mild, downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Thursday night, December 7th, the Year of Our Lord, 2023.

There are some rumblings.

There's some rumors, some whispers circulating, and there's just some outright suggestions

about what Florida state should do

as it relates to the Orange Bowl.

I got some thoughts.

Talk to you about it in just a second.

Transfer portals on fire, as is the case throughout most of December.

I've got a question about Nick Saban.

I've got news on Jim Harbaugh and maybe a contract extension, perhaps some interesting language in that contract.

And like I said, we're going to try.

We may fail spectacularly, but we're going to try and fix the college football calendar just a little bit tonight.

We just want to move some things around.

I think we have some half decent ideas.

They're watching us in Rigby, Idaho, Fort Mitchell, Alabama, Evanston, Illinois, and Zebulon,
