Steve, let's get right into some springball talk

at quarterback.

You know, it wasn't a great day for Justin Fields, who was just 4 of 13 for 131 yards,

but he did have a 98-yard touchdown pass to Ben Victor.

A lot of fans seem concerned, but I just can't stress this enough. I mean just 13 attempts in a game, quote unquote a game, they're not even playing real football, they're playing clutch football. He looked good as a runner. Just what were your

impressions of Justin Field Steve? Yeah I think we could address this a little bit

in the Facebook Live after the game that we posted and my comment was I didn't see anything

that led me to believe that these guys should take the summer off. I think both he and

Matthew Baldwin have plenty of work to do getting on the same pages the wide receivers.

Some passes were off the market times it seemed like and I think that some of it had to do with the offensive line was breaking down at various points.

I don't think we've seen the true offensive line yet because Thayer Munford didn't practice and Jonah Jackson from Rutgers isn't there yet.

So I would guess that the wild card on this is Jonah Jackson because we know for fact that they are Munford is going to start at left tackle I don't think there's any doubt about that

But if Jackson is the real deal that he plays guard and Bowen plays tackle. If Jackson is not the real deal, then Bowen plays guard and either fatigue for air or a lobby plays tackle. And that's one of the it's either it's either or it's one or the

other and they may rotate guys throughout the season but I think the consistency of the

offensive line at times was a struggle.

I think that kind of led to some bad things happening for the quarterbacks.

I have not had a chance to go back and fully watched the game.
