Dota Birds and Leaky Black, Matt Norlander is here with me and I suppose I should open

by apologizing for my voice. I lost it completely two nights ago. No idea why it's starting

to come back, but as I'm sure you can tell already, not quite all the way there yet.

So this is what you get for better or worse. I don't know when I'm going to be good again.

Deadleg, how you been? How's your voice? Hold on. Dead voice. What in the world? Dead voice.

I got to admit, I kind of thought GP might try and pull the pull the rip cord on this whole

podcast thing today, maybe even tomorrow, but listen, we're here for you people. We're

going to go through it. Here's how I learned of Parish's issue with his voice. This is

the opening of his radio show. This is about 20 seconds or so. This is how he introduced

himself to his loyal audience in the greater Memphis area on Tuesday afternoon.

All right. I'm here. Oh my gosh. Kind of. Kind of. Just barely. Oh my goodness. It

gets even more ridiculous from there, but you have power through radio show yesterday.

I got to admit GP. And I hope I'm not jinxed anything. It has been, I haven't lost my voice.

It's been at least 20 years. Now you talk daily pretty much even with the radio show because

that's that's part of your daily gig here. So you simply what? Woke up Tuesday morning

and didn't have a voice. No reason why you think no yelling at the Met's games for five

straight nights. I said, let's do this. What are we thinking here?

That wasn't it. On Monday during the show, I started feeling like I was stopped up,

you know, like needing to blow my nose pretty often. And I started feeling my voice going.

Like I even said to my producer, like during the last break, I was like, am I starting
