0:39.3	So today is Halloween, and here in North America at least, we're going to see a lot of children.
0:44.0	They're going to dress up in costumes. They're going to spend the evening going door to door,
0:47.4	trick-or-treating, and asking for candy and all that good stuff that goes along with this particular
0:52.5	holiday. And people are probably seeing ghosts and jack-a-lanterns and skeletons and witches and all that good stuff that goes along with this particular holiday. And people are probably seeing ghosts and jack-a-lanterns and skeletons and witches
0:58.0	and all the other Halloween-related decor on houses in their neighborhoods.
1:02.5	Now, a lot of Christians are divided over this.
1:05.5	On one side, we have the people who see it all as just harmless fun.
1:09.0	And on the other side, there are people, believers who
1:11.1	have very serious concerns about the spiritual side of this holiday. And some of those folks
1:16.1	are adamantly against any kind of Halloween celebration, including any sort of possible substitute.
1:22.7	As a pastor, you probably had church members that fell on both sides of this debate.
