And I mentioned this at the end of last week's episode. We got a great question. And, you know,

like it definitely feels like kind of we got to stay on trend. But again, this is, we're not just

doing this because it's like a trendy question. We're doing this because we got this question

from James. So James, thank you for helping us stay on top of things here at Ask the Pastor.

And he asked, J.D., should Christians be concerned about the use of AI? So unpack that for us.

Or was it James? I mean, James, are you real? Yes. Now, and I think you and I talk about this

offline, Matt, we're going to make sure we stay on the positive affirmation of AI so that when

AI takes over the world, they don't target you and me

for destruction.

J.D., unfortunately, yeah, we are contributing you more than me, but we are contributing a good

deal of words to the Internet, which is not smart if we, in fact, are concerned about AI.

So this is a consequential question, J.D.

All right.

Okay. Should Christians be concerned about the use of AI?

Well, Christians, like anybody else, engaging with AI, I mean, there are several ethical

dimensions.

We've got to think about human dignity.

Christianity T emphasizes the inherent dignity of every person.

And so, you know, what does this mean about human dignity when we can when we can replace people with um you know with

a moral agency and responsibility um a i systems don't possess moral agency but the humans behind it

do and and uh and what's the responsibility how does that get expressed in these things bias and fairness
