| 0:24.0 | So yeah, look, Alana and I are in different states, a little bit of technical glitches. And alas, here we are making you do with what we can. |
| 0:32.1 | But I want to get into our episode today. Alana and I chat with Jeremy Jacobo. He's a really awesome, passionate food guy, foodie, I would say. We have a really awesome, hilarious discussion, and we all make fun of each other quite a bit, talking about things like who should pay on a first date. Should you do drinks versus dinner? And we answer some listener questions. It's all in good |
| 0:55.5 | fun. And I hope you guys enjoy the episode. One quick thing, I'm really bummed. My microphone was |
| 1:01.6 | actually not feeding into the computer. So what you're hearing will be my audio from my laptop. |
| 1:07.0 | I really sincerely apologize for the echo. I did my best in post to fix that. But alas, it was a little bit difficult. |
| 1:14.5 | Anyway, hopefully the content of the episode makes up for it. As always, we appreciate you guys listening. |
| 1:19.1 | And let's jump right in. All right, everybody, we are in the episode. We are with Jeremy Jacobowitz rocking his Canon R5. |
| 1:25.8 | He's an HD quality. You should be watching this on YouTube. See it. Jeremy, how are you doing? Thanks for being here. Good. How are you guys? We're great. I feel like I just time transported back in time, back to like my high school film and photography classes as you two just gaked out over cameras. It was nice. It was a nice little like blast from the past for me. Yeah, that happens. People usually like their eyes glaze over and I start talking about camera sometimes. I'm like, it's okay. There's, there's an audience. Maybe just not for you, but there's a funny. Yeah. People love, yeah, camera tech can always be like an never. And it's also like an addiction because you have to get the new one every time it comes out. |
| 2:03.6 | And it's where does it stop? |
| 2:04.9 | You know, where does it? |
| 2:05.7 | Where does it? |
| 2:06.0 | I have some retro cameras on my shelf. |
| 2:07.9 | Some people have commented on the contacts T2 back there. |
| 2:11.2 | But my shelf too, somewhere back there. |
| 2:13.7 | It's blurry because I got that nice, you know, camera filming me now. |
| 2:16.3 | But it's on that same shelf back there. It's blurry because I got that nice, you know, camera filming me now. But it's on that same shelf back there. I got some nice retro cameras. And on my shelf back there, I have a painting |
| 2:20.9 | of my dog, Zoe. So we're all on the same page here. Jeremy, for those who might not be as |
| 2:27.5 | familiar with you as others, do you want to paint a little picture of who you are, where you are, |
| 2:32.9 | what makes you you? And why you're here? Sure. Yeah. So I am, I guess a content creator, influencer. I don't know. I hate all those words, but that's what I do. I produce content online. It's all, I say it's like my food adventures around the world. It's all food focus. I used to be a TV producer first in sports and then food TV. So I have that background, but I've been doing this whole online thing myself for six and a half year or something like that full time, which is kind of crazy. It used to be brunch boys if people are more familiar with that. Now it's Jeremy Jocobitz, except my TikTok is still brunch boys. I'm working on that. But anyway, but yeah, that's what I do. Run around, eat some food, make a bunch of videos, take photos. It's, it's fun. You know, I, I, yeah, I was doing the deep binge of your IG feed. I think it's beautiful. And I love what you do. I'm sure people listening, I already know, have seniors and senior work. I got very hungry when I looked at your Instagram feed. |
