My pleasure. On Thursday, the committee voted 12 to zero with all the Democrats boycotting to refer Amy Coney-Barritt's nomination to the full Senate.

Carlo. Moving on this past week, the court granted certiorari in four cases, one on Friday and

three on Monday. Late last Friday, the court agreed to hear

the Trump administration's expedited appeal in Trump v. New York, which involves the 2020 census

and apportionment. In a July memorandum, President Trump directed Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross

to exclude illegal aliens from inclusion in the apportionment base, or in other words, to not count them as part of a state's population for purposes of apportioning electoral votes or seats in the House of Representatives.

Several state and local governments, as well as immigrants' rights groups, filed suit in federal court.

On September 10th, a three-judge district court issued in order blocking the Trump administration from implementing the memorandum.
