know if it was, I feel like it was more recent than that. I definitely remember talking about

Stockholm syndrome in that episode. Gosh, you've got a good memory. It does. I don't remember anything

five years ago. It doesn't matter where we talked about it before because we definitely haven't

talked about Stockholm syndrome in this much detail. No, exactly. I think it's one of those things

that everyone knows what it means in context, but very few people really understand the story of

where it came from. But once 20 minutes has passed, my friend, you will not be one of those ideas.

You will know. No, you will not. So let's continue. Let's begin, shall I say, the journey of education,

the journey of discovery. So, like Hannah said, we've all heard of the term Stockholm syndrome.

You may already even know that Stockholm syndrome is the phenomenon in which people develop a kind of

psychological bond with their captors or abusers. What you may not know is that despite being sighted

in numerous media reports of hostage situations and abuse cases, and of course, in true crime

podcasts up and down the world, Stockholm syndrome has never been included in the DSM. That's

extremely interesting. I did not know that nor did I. So there you go. The learning begins.
