In today's episode, we're going to start out in your living areas.

I've talked about this before, but I always like to start with the front room, which is

whatever you see when you first enter your home.

If it's a nice day out, open the windows. You might be laughing at this

if you live somewhere where it's really cold, but here it's the kind of weather where you might

want to let a nice breeze come through and just that time-honored tradition of airing out your home

from time to time. I'm a firm believer in that.

It's good to get some fresh air flowing through. You're going to want to do some dusting.

And that's going to include your light fixtures and ceiling fans today. Now, my ceiling fan is actually out of my reach, so I'm thinking what I'm

going to do is attach a little dusting tool to a broomstick with a rubber band so that I can

actually reach my fan slash light fixture since I have a high ceiling and then while you're doing that you can hit any

cobwebs in the corners hopefully you don't have many of those but you can go ahead and hit those you might

have a special tool for high ceilings but I'm new to having a high ceiling.

So I'm going to have to rig something up for that.

I also need to dust my blinds, which I'm going to do just with a skinny dusting tool,

and then I'm going to dust the windowsills.

My throw blankets, I just need to fold those up and then my son just vacuumed out the couches so you know under the cushions on top of the cushions so if you need to do that go ahead and do that just did that. You might need to spot clean your furniture.

Hopefully you have some kind of a spray that you can use on your upholstery. Or you might even need to throw a throw pillow in the washing machine. And sometimes you can remove a cover or sometimes if it's a cheap throw

pillow it might be worth just throwing in the washing machine to see how it turns out because you know

if it's if if it's going to just stay stained you're probably going to throw it away anyway so possibly

spot clean or wash your throw pillows if needed.
