Hello and welcome to the Apple Insider Podcast. This is your host, Steven Robles, and for

0:07.8

this very special interview episode, I have a special guest with me, Matthew Kessinelli.

0:12.8

You can might see him as the shortcuts guy on Twitter, and he's also on various podcasts.

0:17.5

He's on the Twitch network as well. But Matthew Kessinelli, thanks so much for joining

0:21.4

us today.

0:22.4

Thank you much for having me. It's a pleasure to be here.

0:24.4

Yeah, man. So first of all, you were actually on the original workflow app team, and I was

0:31.0

an early adopter. I loved the workflow app. It felt like you guys had to have been breaking

0:35.0

some rules to get that thing to do what it did. I don't know. I mean, it stayed in the

0:57.8

like nine months after I joined the team. But I first heard about workflow through websites

1:03.8

like Mac Stories, and probably I'm not sure if you that's how you heard of it too, but

1:09.1

especially when workflow ended up having the widget issue with Apple that I feel like

1:13.7

you're sort of referencing where they did actually literally get kicks out of the store.

1:17.7

Ironically, there's a video of that moment where the team was screen recording, how many

1:23.2

followers they were getting on Twitter, and you can literally see me follow them in the

1:27.7

video. It's actually pretty wild. It's like we didn't find that out until after we got

1:33.0

acquired, and it was like just looking back. And they were like, what? You can see Matthew's

1:36.9

name in here. I worked out another company and was basically looking for a new role, and
