President Biden confirmed that the three objects he ordered shot down last weekend

probably posed no threat to people on the ground

Intelligence community's current assessment is that these three objects were most likely balloons tied to private companies,

recreation or research institutions studying whether or conducting other scientific research

Chinese officials still deny that the massive balloon that started this whole saga was being used for spying

They accused the US of smearing them and escalating tensions

And again, I got to point out the ABC version of this story in the news last night

Martha Raditch, because the president talked about this for the first time yesterday,

Martha Raditch actually said the president did not apologize for shooting down that initial balloon from China

And I thought, wow, is that standing the story on its head?

All the criticism is, why did we let it cross the country and not shoot it down immediately?

Remember, former sec def Leon Panetta saying, you got to shoot that down immediately

So how did it get turned around to not apologizing for shooting down like he's the criticism in these two tough?

I don't know where that comes from.

The parts of this story that aren't inexplicable are indefensible.

So my initial response when they shot down that thing last Friday, we could go today I guess,

and then shot down three days in a row, we shot something, my initial response,

okay, well that's proof that they feel like they made a mistake because they had the show.
