0:30.0	acorn that hung on the bow of a tree. It had a
0:35.0	a tender green cup and a beautifully carved saucer to hold it.
0:42.0	The mother oak fed it with sweet sap every day. The birds sang good night songs above
0:49.7	it and the wind rocked it gently to and fro.
0:54.0	The oak leaves made a soft green shade above it
1:00.0	so the sun could not shine too warm on its green cover,
1:04.0	and it was as happy as an acorn could be.
1:09.0	There were many other acorns on the tree and I am sure the mother often whispered
1:18.0	loving words to all her babies. The summer days were so bright and pleasant that the
1:26.9	acorn never thought of anything but sunshine and an occasional shower
1:32.1	to wash the dust off the leaves.
1:38.0	But you know that summer ends and the autumn days come.
1:44.0	The green cup of the acorn turned to a brown cup,
1:48.0	and it was well that it grew stiffer and harder
1:52.0	for the cold winds began to blow. The leaves turned from green
2:00.3	to golden brown, and some of them were whisked away by the rough wind.
2:07.7	The little acorn began to grow uneasy. Isn't life all summer?

2:17.0	No, whispered the Mother Oak.
2:20.0	The cold days come and the leaves must go and the acorns too. I must soon say goodbye to my babies.
