Why is the U.S. government allowing companies to profit off you getting cancer?

You tell me how I'm wrong here. 65,000 people have claimed that they have cancer of some kind

because of glyphate used in the weed killer called Roundup.

Roundup was a product of Monsanto, but Monsanto got purchased by the drug company, Bear.

So far, Bear has paid out about $10 billion in these lawsuits,

and now they're working a deal to where they're going to be able to just put a $7.25 billion

fund to the side that will sit there for 21 years and if future claims

come up saying hey man I got cancer from the roundup by using it on my farm or ingesting

it at my property people will pull from that pool so you're limited in terms of what it is that you can get as a settlement for your cancer. Now you may say, wow, man, that's a lot of money. You know, why would you even keep selling the product? I mean, first of all, do the right thing. If it's cancer-causing, just take it off the shelves. Why is the US allowing this to continue? But my goodness gracious, you paid $10 billion,

and now you're going to pay another $7.5.5.25 of 21 years?

Listen, folks, it's nothing more than just what I would consider to be a marketing expense,

because it ultimately reflects 15% of what it is that gross sales would be.

Right now, the weed killer Roundup brings in just under $3 billion. So if you take that number and you extrapolate it over 21 years, they're going to be

bringing in between 50 and 60 billion and having to keep 7 and a quarter on the sidelines for lawsuits.

Now, when you go around the world and you look at different studies,

many, many credible studies show that glyphate will indeed cause cancer.

Others will say, no, you're not using your methodology correctly.

No, it doesn't cause cancer, especially if you use the product

as we explain how you should use it.

What does that mean?
