sort of the full backstory of us. I think we took like a very, very deep dive about all the

things that you taught me, how I knew nothing of offshore fishing before I, before I met you. before I met you. But, um, we, we,

we talked a lot about how when I got my first boat, um, it was, it was Darren here who like

pushed me. You know what I mean? Like, why are you flounder and striper fishing a mile off? Why don't

you go here? You are still pushing you. You are still. You are still pushing me. All these years later, you are still pushing me to do more, to be a better angler.

And, you know, we spent a lot of time on my old pursuit, my old rickety pursuit back in

the day.

I learned so much from fishing with you.

And we were talking last Friday about shark fishing in particular.

You did a lot of shark fishing growing up and then I sort of got into that, you know, because of you and really learned how to do

it. And, you know, in my little boat had just a single outboard, 250, and I think it held like

120 gallons of gas. So my range sort of was what it was. On a really nice day, I'd do 30.

But like, it had to be, it had to be perfect.

Yep.

And, you know, as a lifelong fan, I mean, shit, I got a great white tattooed on my leg.

I'm a jaws fan through and through.

So my whole life, I'm ate up with sharks. And I wanted to tell it because I don't think I've ever publicly told this story,
