When you talk about going on a rural Caribbean cruise to the Eastern Caribbean, no doubt you're not going to be stopping in St. Martin.

And rightfully so, it's one of the highlights of any cruise to this region.

And St. Martin has a well-deserved reputation as being one of the most beautiful places to visit on a cruise.

And this week, I wanted to talk about going to St. Martin on your Royal Caribbean cruise and how to plan for it.

Because they got a lot of questions about basically what is there to do in St. Martin? What's the approach and how do you go

Royal Caribbean cruise. We went out of Bayonne, New Jersey, and it was a long nine-night cruise, we went down over there, and I fell in love with it immediately. I mean, it's just a phenomenal island.

A couple things. Let's start off with the basics. St. Martin is actually two islands in one.

It's an island that is divided between the Netherlands, aka the Dutch, and France, the French, right? Basically, I was divided in half.
