Another round of Iranian retaliatory strikes on Tel Aviv has left residents in the city reeling.

The overnight strikes are the latest in the escalating conflict, with both sides widening their attacks.

224 people have been killed in Iran since hostilities began Friday,

when Israel launched an unprecedented attack targeting Tehran's nuclear program and military leadership.

24 people have been killed in Israel. So far, President Donald Trump has said publicly and privately, he wants to keep the

U.S. out of the conflict. But Israeli opposition leader Yaya Lepid told CNN he wants the U.S.

to become involved. I think it will be in everybody's interests, the region, the world,

the United States, and of course, Israel. Meanwhile, a regional diplomat told CNN that Iran is ruling out negotiations with the U.S.

until it completes its retaliation against Israel.

They said media reports saying Iran asked Oman and Qatar to mediate with the U.S.

to secure a ceasefire with Israel and restart nuclear talks,

a quote, inaccurate.
