So I don't know why it is that it took us so long to get into this this year.

I think I actually know what it probably was. It was that we're doing all that all decade stuff.

That's probably why when we normally would have been starting these player rankings.

But now it's time to get at. We're gonna have to do all five positions before the end of the year.

And we started last year with the shooting guards in December.

We're getting into it a little bit later this year as I mentioned. Full disclosure, we're recording this a little bit before

the All Star break, but only be a game or two.

So hopefully nobody on this list suffers a catastrophic injury in the meantime.

Also, I have some nostalgia because it was this list last year that really set off my love affair with Sun's fans.

And Sun's Reddit put me in jail for the rest of my life as one of their options of what would Sun's fans most want to see.

I think one of the other ones was like traded in Mara Stadivier for Steph Curry and won the coin flip for

Kreme Adjol Javar. And I think I still got a pretty good number of votes.

So very happy there. But I'm guessing Sun fans aren't gonna have much to quibble with this year on the shooting guard rankings.

But before we get into those, Danny, what the hell is a shooting guard to you?

How are we defining these positions?

It's real challenge, especially with shooting guard because in some ways it is defined by what it is not.

And I generally define positions defensively. So it's who do you guard?

And so it's players who generally are not big enough to guard opposing threes.

You know, they aren't those those forward sized wings.

But they also typically are not quick enough to guard opposing ones.

So they slide in between those two.

You and I differ a little bit on the group of guys that I think are too.
