What's wrong with most of the investing advice you are getting today?

Almost everything.

There's a lot of self-interest.

Oh, self-interest. You you know that almost sounds kind gentle okay there's i mean there's a lot of just outright fibbing and lying going on

yeah there is yeah there's a lot of it i mean we're not going to name any names, but I know you talk to somebody in an investment business recently who pretty much lied about their commissions. I mean, yeah, I'd say anything. I mean, I think our friend Paul Merriman once said very elegantly, which is somebody called it with a half million dollar count.

And he said, there would be advisors that would crawl across cracked glass to get your account.

And that's true because they're that desperate for the money.

There's a lot of people in the business.

They make a lot of money on deals.

That's part of having a

transactional kind of person that works with you is they got to close you on something.

How many of you listening to us right now have a friend or family member who calls themselves

a financial advisor? I bet everybody everybody does somebody in the family at some

point somebody in the family couldn't find a real job and became a life insurance agent oh i

see okay financial advisor yeah i love that one yeah and then they sell annuities yeah that makes

you a financial advisor.

Anyway, let me give you a number.

Yeah.

It's a really important number.
