I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, this case coming out of Kentucky is quite disturbing, you know,

and it's not just disturbing because we see a live video of a lawman,

namely the sheriff, Sheriff Stein in this community, shoot and kill Judge Mullins,

all on video. And we all, there's no question that Sheriff Stein committed this crime.

But what we all want to know, which hasn't been revealed yet is the why.

The why, why did this exemplary sheriff, Sheriff Stein, who seemingly was loved in this community, was loved by all, had a big heart,

had been on the job, I believe, for 22 to 23 years.

And this comes out of nowhere.

Like, why did this happen?

And we'll probably learn.

And people that live in that community will tell us, no, it didn't come out of nowhere.

This is why it happened.

This is why he did what he did.

And we have some little clues here, but no specific clues.

And I thought that yesterday, and we'll get into it a little more, but this man

you see on the screen, Clayton Stamper, who's the lead investigator from the Kentucky State

Police, I hate to say this, but I couldn't believe how ill-prepared he was. I could not believe how little he knew about the case.

He had two weeks to read the case file.

I couldn't believe how little information he had.
