This week at the roundtable of dim lighting, we are revisiting some lyrics to songs that we

did not understand as kids, but now that we are men folk and fully understand all the

things that there are to understand in life.

Just slightly more than we understood at the time.

Wow.

Kind of blown away with what we were singing and what we were rapping and what we were

talking about back in the day.

And I want to contrast it to how things are these days.

But go ahead and tell me, how did you get into this?

This was a shepherd conversation.

So last week on the same evening, my boys had, shepherd had his middle school dance and

Locke had his high school prom.

So boy was just, you know, lots of pictures being taken, et cetera, et cetera.

And I think that you're feeling the dance fever?

I think that there is, as I think we said last time, there will be like a, your approach

to prom slash middle school dances because next year, you know, Lincoln will still be, he'll

have the prom, shepherd will have another middle school dance.
