McDonald's is ditching something that they've had in their restaurants for the past 85 years.

What's your favorite part of McDonald's besides the fries and the broken ice cream machines?

Like food item?

I mean, for my kids, it's the ball pit with some vomit in the corner. Oh, that they contribute to themselves. Last time I was there, I saw the kid just erp and then get back to it. Yeah. Is there no parent? You got to learn how to puke and rally at a young age. For me, I liked making swamp water sodas. That's what you called them? Yeah. Swamp water. Where you combine all the drink flavors at the soda fountain? I call them graveyard. Graveyards. They used to be called suicides when I was little. But then everybody dropped that because it wasn't PC. Yeah. We're probably going to have to bleep that from the show even. Now we call it the happy fun yay drinks. Yeah, well.

Now we'll call it nothing because it won't be possible anymore.

McDonald's just announced they're ending the era of self-serve soda stations nationwide.

Why?

They just got all those cool ones where you could add all the flavors to all the different things.

The syrup.

Yeah.

They say they're doing it to, quote, reduce labor and maintenance and adapt to modern consumer habits.

Oh.

AKA they don't trust the customers anymore.

People are getting too bold.

They keep going back for fourths and fifths on refills.

It's like pennies.

It costs them pennies to have pop.

They deserve to have them.

So going forward, they're only going to make drinks behind the counter now.
