Indeed.

Also known as this game, or originally known as, in its native Japan, the Super Shinobi 2,

as in the sequel to the Super Shinobi.

Just so as you know. It's a 2D slide and slice ninja game from the 16-bit era,

the fourth in Sega's series of arcade action Ninja Games and the second designed for home consoles.

But what are our histories with the game?

Let's start with our guest, Dan.

When did you first come across Shinobi 3?

Well, I'm going to rewind a little bit and just go through my history with the series a bit just to sort of get you to like,

because I've had a funny relationship with this game, I guess.

So the arcade version of Shinobi, I absolutely loved as a kid.

It was, if you'd asked me at a certain age, I probably would have said that's my favorite arcade game.

Like the bonus round, you know, with, it's like that's the biggest best looking sprite I've ever seen.
