if you have them as fortunate of being assigned a bad lawyer, not once but twice.

Marri Lee Jones was sentenced to death for killing a four-year-old girl.

But just a few years ago, a judge tossed out the verdict and ordered a retrial because

of a shoddy defense.

Today's ruling means that retrial won't happen.

Jones, the defendant in this case, is now sitting on death row.

And thanks to the court, a judge has never and will never see the evidence that could

clear his name.
