Welcome to a Friday edition of the busted open podcast with me. Denise Salcedo and the

voice of AEW in Espanol Thunder Rosa. Today Thunder Rosa reflects on an interview I had with

Hikara Shita and she opens up about her and she does journeys and trials as AEW Women's

champion. Also we speak to our indie spotlight today and that is Mission Pro Wrestling's new

world champion Tiffany Nevis here on the Busted Open podcast. I want to give a shout out to

Shita who's now the AEW Women's World Champion and she's heading into all in and he lets

actually like in about a week. For me, Shita, Serena was my first match and I am so thankful

for the opportunity to share the ring with Serena at a time and where it was during the

pandemic. Nobody knew who I was because at that time I was unless you watch NWA, you know

who I was or you were watching that dependency. But Serena was my first match at AEW but the

match that we had, Shita and I, at all out three years ago to the date, you know, for me was

something very, very special. I have, I wrote a letter that day, the day before when I had

the match because I was so nervous. It was my first time facing Shita. I remember the whole

process. Kenny was involved. Kenny who was super supportive to the Women's division back

in that time really helped us develop something really, really awesome in the ring. And I remember

the day of the show where like preparing ourselves and everything is happening. There was an incident

that happened between, in the match prior to us, it was Matt Hardy in Sami Guevara that the match

was cut short. And I remember like they came to us and they were like, ladies, you guys have a lot

more time. So take your time. And I'm like terrified because this, this is the, you know, the, you

know, the, the test of fire that I had. And, and Shita may such an EC transition and such an EC
