Well, with an intro like that, Amy, I mean, it's a real nail biter just to start.

0:39.9

I'm still on a high from seeing you and your beautiful family. It was so much fun. It's such a great time. We really had like the best time.

0:43.8

And I mean, it was so nice because we did our happy hour too with our patrons.

0:48.5

I like, if you were them said, they're like, we've never seen you in the same place. It's crazy because we used to only record in the same place. In the beginning, we never recorded separate.

0:52.9

I ruined it by moving too far away,

0:54.7

but I'm going to work on fixing that. Really? I didn't know that was an option. I think so.

1:00.3

I think it could be an option. I will take it. Okay, excellent. But anyway, that's not what we

hear to talk about today. Oh, okay. Sorry. Oh, actually, really quick. One more side note before we get into it. This mug right here. I have a story about my mug. So it's just a cute little snowman mug. Oh, okay. I couldn't see this. So I taught my first class at John Jay. I was a PhD student. I was super young. I didn't know what I was doing. I was so nervous. And my first semester teaching, one of my students gave me this mug after the semester was over. And I think it's so cute, except on the inside, it says, when we're together, even the coldest day feels warm. And it is, and it was a male student, so I, like, freaked out. No. It's like one of these cute mugs where you can only read the inside when you're like drinking it.

I'm sure he meant nothing by it, but like I was like, oh my God.

1:50.5

Or if he did what a compliment.

1:52.2

Isn't that cute?

1:53.1

I know.

1:53.6

I was like a baby.

1:54.5

I was a baby.

1:55.2

He was a baby.

1:56.2

It was when students still look surprised that we were the teacher because we look so young.

2:01.2

I know.

2:01.7

Now they could be my children. You know, that hasn't happened to me in a very long time. But anyway. I know. It's okay, though. It's okay. Either right, it's great to see you. It's great to be back. Anyway, let's get into today's case, which is another local case. Lately, I've been all about New Jersey cases. as you know, I've covered many of them. Oh, yeah, you have. And the one I'm writing right now is also New Jersey. Is there a reason? Are you like seeking them out? I'm not at all. This one. So the reason I'm covering this case, remember that producer from A&E reached out to us asking one of us to comment on a case. Yes.

2:52.9

So it was this case. And the reason I hadn't heard about it, but it was local to me. And I was like, oh, I should know about this. So I devoured the story quickly because I wanted to be able to, you know, provide the commentary on the case. Right. So as I was researching the case, I was like, oh, wait a minute.
