We're breaking from our normal schedule where we would be talking with E.J. and

Mike on the football side, but we've got some breaking basketball news tonight, actually.

Carolina just got a big time commit from five-star Nas Little.

And to talk about that one, I have got Inside

Carolina's beat reporter Sherell McMillan. And Rel just start us off with how big of a deal is

this that Carolina was able to land Little? Well, it's a big deal for a variety of reasons. I think the

first thing is if, you know, you listen to pundits and media and even the fan base,

there's been some concern that North Carolina's recruiting had slept from where it was in previous years.

And that concern was, I think, to a degree warranted.

If you look at the 2015, the 2016, and the 2017 classes, I think they combined for one McDonald's All-American,

which is not typical of North Carolina recruiting, Tony Bradley being the only McDonald's

All-American out of all three of those.

Obviously, McDonald's All-Americans, you know, that's not the end-all-be-all of good basketball,

but it is kind of a tell for exactly how good you're recruiting.

So one, Nazir-Little is a slam duck home run, McDonald's All-American. There should be no question about that. Two, he is a

top 10 player. And since the national championship in 2009, North Carolina's only had three other

top 10 players that they've signed, Harrison Barnes, Jenkins Michael McAdoo, and Justin Jackson. So it was,

you know, you hate to say a drought because there's some of these schools who would kill to have a

top 10 player every four years. But for North Carolina, going four classes without one was considered,
