Here I got a letter from eighth grade students at Trinity Christian Academy in Texas, and I'm going to read it to you.

I'm not going to read their names.

We'll keep their privacy private.

Keep their names private.

Protect their privacy.

But the idea was I was going to do something on this topic anyway.

Who is Jesus anyway?

And because in my new book, Truth, what it is, how to find it and why it still matters.

I have several chapters on Jesus, religion, mythology, God, and so forth.

This is a, you know, pretty much a lifelong pursuit for me.

And so I find this topic incredibly interesting and important.

And just as I was thinking about making a little, Schumer says, video about all this

stuff, I got this letter. Dear Mr. Shermer, we're a group of eighth graders from a Christian school

in Texas. For the last month, our class has been praying for you. Wow, thank you. I really appreciate

that. We know you have doubts about the legitimacy of Christianity.
