0:00.0	Earlier this month, two young women, sisters in Martin County, Florida, were groomed and actually kidnapped by a man, a 19-year-old who traveled all the way from
0:26.0	Nebraska. How did this happen? Well, as it turns out, and we're going to talk to the chief
0:31.9	lawman in Martin County, Florida here in a second, but it turns out this fellow, this 19-year-old, had been in contact with the
0:41.2	girls for several months on the platform Roblox, which, as you know, I've been investigating
0:48.8	because of all the grooming and exploitation of children that has taken place.
0:53.9	Now, Roblox has said that it's
0:55.3	implemented a number of safety precautions since we first started reporting on this. We'll
1:01.2	talk about that in a minute. But first, I want to speak with Sheriff John Budensik of Martin
1:08.6	County, Florida about this case. He investigated it along with his detectives
1:14.2	and brought this man to justice. Sheriff, thank you for having a seat with me today. I appreciate it.
1:19.0	Chris, thank you. And thank you for shedding light on this case particularly. It's concerning.
1:24.4	Take me back to the beginning, Sheriff. How did this come in? Did it come in as a report of two
1:29.8	missing girls? Or how did you get winded this? How did it start? It did. Our deputies actually walked
1:35.7	headlong in on what I would couch as a sheriff's as a law enforcement agency's worst nightmare.
1:41.6	They went to a house in one of our rural sections of the county and met with
1:46.5	family members who said that a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old girl went missing and had been
1:51.5	missing for a couple of hours. They'd done their due diligence. They contacted the friends and
1:55.3	families. They'd done their own neighborhood canvas. And by the time they had called us,
1:59.5	we're playing catch up.
2:07.2	No leads, nothing, nothing to work off of, no phones of trace, nothing to work off of except for just interview skills by our deputies who started quizzing the family about,
2:13.2	is there any person, any contact that's been made that you know about?
2:17.8	And thankfully, the family in this case was extremely diligent.
