0:58.9	Joining us today is Sheriff Donna Buckley. She has proudly served as Barnstable County Sheriff since January 4th,
1:06.8	2023. She's the first female sheriff in Barnsville County's 33-year history.
1:13.5	She began her career as the in-house counsel from the National Association of Government Employees, International Brotherhood of Police Officers.
1:22.3	After running her law office for nine years, she worked at the Massachusetts Teachers Association, delivering
1:28.6	legal services to the members of the Teachers Union in the areas of collective bargaining,
1:33.5	grievances, arbitrations, and employment disputes. She also taught criminal law and related
1:39.0	courses, and in 2018, became the General Counsel for the Barnstable County Sheriff's Office.
1:45.6	After that, she ran for Sheriff and won. She's here to tell us her story and what a story it is. Thanks for coming on.
