Summary
As police continue to investigate the abduction of the 84 year old mother of Savannah Guthrie, the Sheriff’s department had to put out a statement today refuting an allegation made by journalist Ashleigh Banfield. Banfield has claimed a “high level source” told her that Savannah’s brother-in-law may be the prime suspect in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. As several news outlets picked up on the headline, the sheriff’s department responded by acknowledging that while detectives continue to speak with anyone who had contact with Nancy Guthrie, NO suspects have been identified at this time.
